Manager's Budget Message

Honorable Mayor and Members of the City Council
Morganton, North Carolina

In accordance with the North Carolina Local Government Fiscal Control Act, the recommended budget for fiscal year 2011-2012 is presented for your consideration. The budget document represents balanced revenues and expenditures. This budget has been extremely challenging to put together. The revenues and expenditures continue to reflect significant reductions in resources. Although it reflects a commitment to continuing existing services, delivery will be impacted by frozen positions and cuts to operations and reduced capital budgets.
