Morganton Skeet & Trap Range

400 Causby Quarry Road

The skeet range was opened in 1975 and is approximately 1.5 acres. The combination skeet and trap field was constructed in 1995.

Amenities

• Three (3) lighted skeet fields (one is combination trap and skeet)
• Club house with kitchen, restrooms and meeting room.

Hours

• Wednesdays: 3 pm – dark
• Saturdays: 10 am – 4 pm
• Sundays: 1 pm – dark

Cost

• Must supply your own gun
• City Residents or club members: $3 a round
• Non-City residents: $4.00 a round, nonresident
• 25 skeet per round

Ammunition: Use a field shot load, low powered with a No. 8 or 9 shot
