City Council meeting set for Monday Feb. 6, 2012

The Morganton City Council will hold the Council's regular meeting Monday Feb. 6, 2012, at 6:00 pm in the Council Chambers in City Hall.

Items on the agenda include:

• Resolution Honoring Retiring City Employees: Joseph V. Vance, Tamera L. Suther, and Steve B. Settlemyer
• Consideration of a Temporary Exemption to the Noise Ordinance for the Morganton Heights Project
• Consideration of an Authorizing Resolution Supporting the Application of Certified Local Government (CLG) Funds on behalf of Western Piedmont Community College (WPCC)
• Consideration to Allocate a Portion of City HUD Funds for the Purpose of Creating a New Entrepreneurial Grant Competition in Association with the Burke Entrepreneurs and Business Owners (BEBO)
• Consideration of Utility Relocation Agreements with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (Enola Road)
• Consideration of Project Budget Ordinances for Economic Development Projects for American Roller Bearing and Case Farms
